Let's Start Talking

Let's Start Talking (LST) is a ministry of the Richland Hills Church of Christ in Fort Worth, Texas.

LST was started in 1981 by Mark and Sherrylee Woodward, former missionaries to Germany, for the purpose of organizing and training short-term missionary teams. Teams of Church of Christ members are organized across the U.S. and Canada.

These teams are then trained to share their faith through English conversation classes using Bible texts. Teams have been sent to Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. Each team typically remains at its site for six weeks

The association with Let's Start Talking has allowed members of the Manhattan Church of Christ to participate in a variety of ways in the spreading of the gospel overseas. Besides those who have had the opportunity to travel to foreign lands, others have participated by contributing money, writing to overseas team members, and praying for the success of the teams. All who have participated in any way can take satisfaction in knowing that they have helped people to come closer to God.

            Cats for Christ

Cats for Christ is a Christian campus ministry serving the campus of Kansas State                      University and the community of Manhattan, Kansas.

The mission of Cats for Christ is to help students grow closer to the heart of God. We believe this is done by engaging people in three areas: Faith, Ministry, and Community. It is these three areas that are modeled by the first group of Christian believers in Acts chapter 2, verses 42-47:

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."
